Cyclone Support: Building Conversation Skills to Increase Help-Seeking

This is a three-part session where participants will learn best practices regarding motivational enhancement and conversation skills when working with others. The skills focus on promoting autonomy, empathetic and reflective listening, gauging readiness, and planning and referral.  Participants will engage in case studies, small and large group discussions, and role play exercises through the 2.5-hour session. In addition, participants will learn more about the new Cyclone Support website and campaign resources. 


Objective 1: Participants will discuss motivational enhancement techniques for talking with others who are struggling with their well-being.

Objective 2: Participants will practice motivational enhancement techniques when talking with others who are struggling with their well-being.
