Sleeping to Success: How to Manage Sleep and Fatigue in a Restless World

Sleep is a core pillar of health and well-being; optimizing sleep is key to improving mental and physical performance, as well as managing stress. However, achieving adequate rest is increasingly challenging due to erratic schedules, invasive mobile devices, and a culture of constant social engagement. This sessions educates participants about principles that drive sleep-wake behavior, provides actionable guidelines for how to sleep longer and better, and reveals sleep as an important tool for maintaining mental health and performance.

Objective 1: University participants will listen and interact in a dynamic lecture format in order to learn about sleep and fatigue.

Objective 2: Participants will be able to identify personal examples of sleep and fatigue concepts.
